Helen Richarson was the first foreigner to have made it big in Bollywood. This cabaret queen from the 70s gave hope to many such aspiring divas and is still known for her item numbers. After Helen, an array of young foreign girls tried their luck in Bollywood. Lisa Ray, Rosa Catalano, etc failed miserably while the likes of Kalki and Jiah Khan managed to bag some goodwill and success.
